Whether it be organizing and supporting the community’s ongoing summer music series downtown, launching a children’s violin program, or ensuring that Gilroy schools have the tools and curriculum to teach elementary students about art, the Theater Angels Art League has actively been supporting and advocating on behalf of the arts in Gilroy. Your financial support can help the Theater Angels continue to build a thriving community filled with creative, vibrant, and enriching arts.

Application guidelines are as follows:
Grant awards range: $100-$500
Who May Apply: Non profit organizations (IRS designation 501c3) or an organization with a nonprofit fiscal agent. Applicant organization must be in existence for a minimum of one year. Individuals are not directly eligible for grant funds.
Funds are only granted for program or project activities in the local community.
Application Deadline: 5 PM October 31st and 5 PM March 31. If the deadline date falls on a weekend or a holiday, the deadline is the first business day following the above deadline dates. Applicants will receive notification of the grant award decision 30 days after application deadline.
Grants Distribution: December for proposals received Oct. 31st; April for March proposals.
Required Reports: A Final Report is due 12 months from the date the funds were granted. Grantees are required to submit a written accounting of the use of the awarded grant funds; you will be requested to submit a final project budget and copies of receipts of major purchases. A copy of the final report form follows the application form.
