Gilroy is bursting with artistic talent that moves and inspires all of us. We have actors, singers, dancers, playwrights, musicians and artists of all ages with the creativity to stimulate and enhance our understanding of our world and ourselves.

Yet our local arts groups have struggled to find places to present a full range of the productions that showcase creativity and innovation, delight their audiences, and engage our community.

The Center for the Arts will be a place for song, dance, comedy and drama. It will bring enjoyment to generations to come.

The Gilroy Center for the Arts will offer something for most every type of performing art.

Unique, flexible performance spaces open doors to new creative prospects. The main theater is a traditional presidium stage and can seat up to 500.

A second, black box style stage is perfect for smaller audiences and intimate presentations that require a nontraditional stage arrangement.

A courtyard and outdoor stage present opportunities for more casual productions in the open air.

Classrooms and rehearsal rooms will be places of learning and growing.

The Center's lobby and the flat theater auditorium floor offers space for special gathering and business events such as weddings and conferences.

The dressing rooms, box office, kitchen and concession stand are a few more of the special features that will enhance our community's theater experience.

The Center for the Arts will be a place for Gilroy to revel in the art, talent and creativity of our community.
